Siklós Castle is an important historical site in Hungary. The walls of its fort were first built in the 13th century, around 1260, but to this day it is one of the most intact and unified historical memorials that remain.
During its thousand-year history, Siklós and its castle have always held great significance. The castle’s permanent exhibitions offer historical time-travel, while the castle theatre’s productions, not always inspired by history, offer exceptional cultural experiences on summer evenings.
